Everyone LOVES a new box of crayons. Oh, the endless possibilities! Remember that feeling? Do you also remember the sheer devastation when your favorite color snapped in two? Or the beautiful tip popped off? You swore that nothing could be worse. Until… crayon muffins. Today is a DIY (ta da!) experiment with broken crayons, an atypical DIYer (me) and an eager daughter.
Step One: Find your broken pieces
Step Two: Peel paper off

Step 6: Bake for 7- 8 minutes, take out & swirl with a toothpick
Step 7: Cool (I let ours stand for 20 min then popped in freezer for another 30)

Ta! Da! Crayon Muffins will pop out of the tin ready for hours of fun. Just hope you have enough paper for all the art work that is coming your way… Let me know – did you try it?
