I know. There is a lot of talk about Fall, the stores are full of amazing fall items, lots of articles about transition wardrobes, oh and don’t forget the new fall TV line up.  But, you see, I am not ready for Fall. I love Summer with its humidity and heat that gives us a perfect rational for ice cream every day. My parents are in NY (vs FL in the cooler months).  No coats, cute dresses, sunsets on the beack, walking barefoot in my yard.  I want to enjoy every moment of it.  

One of my favorite summer moments is our annual family trip to Cape Cod Ma. I cannot wait to head out.  There is everything to love about the Cape from the sun & surf to the relaxed atmosphere of the different towns across the Isle.  So this week’s posts, will all carry a preppy (like the Gap, above, and this J.Crew look), coastal theme as I try to savor the last days of August.
